As an Automation Engineer in Fargo, you’ll be at the forefront of designing, programming, and supporting control systems in industrial and commercial environments. What We’re Looking for in a Candidate:

Automation Engineer II

  • Bachelor’s or Associate Degree in Engineering or a related field.

  • 3–6 years of hands-on experience in industrial control systems.

  • Proficient with DCS/PLC programming and system integration.

  • Ability to independently lead loop checks, commissioning, and troubleshooting.

Automation Engineer III (Senior)

  • Bachelor’s or Technical Degree required.

  • 5+ years of experience in automation; Siemens PCS7 preferred.

  • Proven leadership in project management and engineering team support.

  • Advanced skills in system architecture, programming, and field integration.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Program, configure, and commission PLC, DCS, and HMI systems.

  • Design and develop control system architecture, network layouts, and instrumentation.

  • Support site startup, testing, and troubleshooting activities.

  • Prepare documentation including IO lists, BOMs, drawings, and manuals.

  • Communicate with clients and project teams to ensure quality and on-time delivery.

  • Mentor junior engineers (Engineer II & III roles).

  • Lead full project lifecycle and client coordination (Engineer III).
