Construction Project Manager

Job Description

Swanberg Construction is seeking skilled and experienced Project Managers for upcoming jobs in North and South Dakota. Responsibilities include instructing superintendents, as well as communicating effectively with management, engineers, and subcontractors, completing each phase of the project within the scheduled timeline and budget. Project Managers drive to work sites regularly, but don't often stay overnight like many of our other positions. Swanberg Headquarters is in Valley City.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45.00 - $55.00 per hour 

Expected hours: 35 — 50 per week

Experience:

• Construction: 4 years relevant experience in the Construction industry

Ability to travel to: Job sites throughout North Dakota and northern South Dakota.

Some responsibilities will include:

• Develop project scope, and plan all aspects of new projects
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation and measure project performance 
• Establish and maintain relationships with owners, engineers, and subcontractors when appropriate
• Review and approve Supplier and Subcontractor Submittals in a timely manner
• Input subcontractors Pay Apps and vendors invoices in a timely manner
• Input Pay Apps and/or invoices in a timely manner to Engineers or owners
• Create Change Orders and Requests for Information that are accurate and submit to engineers or owners in a timely manner.
• Ensure OSHA Compliance and complete safety reviews when on site
• Mentor Superintendents
• Prepare Estimates and Takeoffs for current bidding projects
