Job Description
The Mountrail County Correctional Center is seeking a part time correctional officer. This position pays $26.44-$27.51 / hour depending on experience and offers excellent benefits including health insurance, retirement, dental, vision and life insurance.
Responsibilities include (but not limited to) overseeing inmates, keeping order within the jail, search cells, write reports and fill out daily logs, escort prisoners’ movements both inside and outside of the facility.

This position requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, the ability to quickly assess a situation and determine the appropriate response, the ability to monitor multiple activities and individuals, and willingness and desire to learn new and challenging tasks.
