Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Drop Plow Operator--Pay Range $50,000.00-$65,000.00
Drop Plow Operator:
Installs the service cable from the house to the pedestal or the road Right of Way. You may have to use mechanical boring equipment (ie) hole hog. Your interview will include a demonstration of your level of skill. A Current CDL is required for this position. Ripley’s utilize " Ditch Witch” and “Vermeer” drop plow equipment.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
1.) Out of town travel as required
2.) Ability to work in adverse weather conditions
3.) Ability to lift 50 lbs.
4.) Ability to kneel, squat, bend and twist as needed
5.) Ability to use a variety of hand/power tools
6.) Must have a current valid drivers license
7.) Must maintain a current health certificate
8.) Must perform prescribed job function in a timely and efficient manner
9.) General clean up
10.) Provide accurate daily timekeeping
TRAINING QUALIFICATIONS:
Daily instructions and directions from the company's foreman
Vehicle operation instructions (when required)
Knowledge of company's policies and procedures
Participate in weekly toolbox meeting
