Position Summary
The Housing Empowerment Coach provides coaching services aimed at supporting the housing stability of low-income families in Region 5 of North Dakota through Care Coordination and Housing Support through Medicaid. This role provides oversight, community outreach, and direct support services to eligible families and individuals to help families achieve housing stability and self-sufficiency.
Essential Skills
- Ability to maintain regular and normal attendance for client services.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to maintain professional relationships.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, SharePoint) and online data systems.
Work Conditions
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with flexibility to meet client needs.
- Travel: Frequent travel to client homes and external agencies.
- This position requires regular, in-person interaction with clients to provide excellent service and maintain strong professional relationships. Due to the nature of the role, remote or work-from-home arrangements are not possible. The work is primarily conducted in the community and at 3233 S. University Drive in Fargo, ND ensuring consistent collaboration with clients and team members.
