About Us:
ACR Homes provides high-quality home healthcare and support for individuals with disabilities across over 40 locations in the greater Minneapolis-St. Paul area. We are looking for empathetic, responsible, and attentive individuals to join our team in Burnsville, MN. As part-time Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), you will provide personalized care to four young adults with disabilities, ensuring their physical, medical, and emotional needs are met. Responsibilities include administering medications, assisting with daily tasks, and helping residents achieve personal goals. LPNs also share on-call duties. We provide paid training to support you in delivering high-quality care. The ideal candidate will have a current LPN license in Minnesota, strong communication skills, and a caring, reliable approach. Previous healthcare experience is preferred but not required. Current Needs:
Option 1: 32 hours/week (2 Positions Available)
- Schedule: Weekday shifts from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM
- Weekend Requirement: At least every other weekend (included in your 32 hours/week requirement)
- On-Call Work: Required outside of the 32 hours/week
- We are looking to fill two 32-hour/week positions, with shifts split between two LPNs. This option allows for flexibility while meeting our staffing needs.
Option 2: 40 hours/week + 24 hours/week (1 full-time position & 1 part-time position with benefits)
Full-time Position (40 hours/week):
- Schedule: Weekday shifts from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM
- Weekend Requirement: At least every other weekend (included in your 40 hours/week requirement)
- On-Call Work: Required outside of the 40 hours/week
- If we hire for the full-time 40-hour/week position, there will only be 24 hours/week left to fill. This remaining 24 hours/week can be filled by a part-time LPN.
Part-time Position with benefits (24 hours/week):

- Weekday shifts from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM
- At least every other weekend (included in the 24 hours/week required)
- On-call work required outside of those hours
Examples of tasks performed on shift:
- Preparing and passing medications
- Using specialized medical equipment (tracheostomy, oxygen, ventilator, g/j tubes..etc.) *paid training provided
- Performing range of motion, therapies, and stretching routines
- Taking vital signs
- Charting
- Advocating for residents during appointments and hospital stays
- Assisting the resident by helping them maintain family and friend relationships
- Enjoying fun activities together in the home and in the community (crafts, baking, going out for coffee, enjoying a baseball game together, etc.)
* NEW RATES OF PAY (effective 12/29/2024) - $28.00- $36.00/hour. Rates of pay are not based on experience but on shifts worked. Weekend and overnight shifts are paid toward the top or at the top of the pay scale.
Hourly Direct Care LPN Rates:
- Weekday Day $28.00-$30.00/hour **dependent on home's Rate Exception Differential, if applicable**
- Weekday Evening $30.00/hour **dependent on home's Rate Exception Differential, if applicable**
- Weekday Awake $33.00/hour **dependent on home's Rate Exception Differential, if applicable**
- Weekend Day: $31.00/hour **dependent on home's Rate Exception Differential, if applicable**
- Weekend Evening: $33.00/hour **dependent on home's Rate Exception Differential, if applicable**
- Weekend Awake: $36.00/hour **dependent on home's Rate Exception Differential, if applicable**
- Asleep shifts: $11.25/hour
- New Hire Training (Pods at office + Shadow Shifts): $26.00/hour
*+annual pay increases years 1-3
Bonuses:
LPNs who start working at ACR will get a $2000 bonus if part-time (ALL BONUSES ARE TAXABLE) LPN bonus is broken down as follows:
Part-Time: $2000--$500 after training completion and $1500 after 6 months from training completion date
