Maintenance Technician I
Title: Maintenance Technician I
Reports To: Chief Engineering Manager
Date Effective: July 1st, 2024
Core Function: The Maintenance Tech I will assist the Chief Engineer and Maintenance Supervisor in operation, maintenance, and repair programs across the branch facilities to assure maximum life and reliability of all systems within the property. Assist in general maintenance and operation processes.
Duties and Expectations
- Working Hours and Reporting for Duty
Possess some scheduling flexibility due to business demands for each location
Start your shift on time, well rested and ready to work.
Expect that shift and break times are flexible and may be interrupted by business or guest needs. Assists in emergencies as needed.
- Must be able to read, speak and write English well, to be able to understand and follow directions, communicate clearly with guests and complete reports.
- Compliance with all operating SOP’s.
- Ensure compliance with expense guidelines, company policies and procedures, governing codes and regulations and, when appropriate, third-party owner directives.
- Other duties as assigned.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, Ability and Hands on Experience - Possess or Ability to Learn
Fast Learner
General building maintenance
Able to act independently and make accurate decisions with attention to detail.
Ability to demonstrate exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
General computer skills including Microsoft Office products, CMMS Systems
Ability to analyze and solve problems.
One to three (1-3) years’ work experience in a mechanical, maintenance or physical labor position

Ladder work (lightbulbs, ceiling tiles etc.)
Light equipment maintenance
Training on various mechanical systems
Requirements
Valid Minnesota Driver’s License
Ability to operate hand tools, power tools and light equipment (mowers, snow blowers etc.)
