Establish short and long range sales objectives, and establish programs and procedures within the Sales Department to enable the company to meet those objectives.
Familiarize himself with O'Day Tank & Steel’s marketing territory and identify marketing opportunities.
Establish Dealer network of resellers of UL & Non-UL listed tanks, excludes Oil and Gas API exploration
Resellers, clients that will not be the last point of sale of the tanks, or manufactured products.
Select and train new salesmen, and monitor the performance of each salesman and overall sales activities to ensure that sales objectives are accomplished.
Conduct special sales promotions, contests, trade shows and sales meetings.
Publish price lists which include:
Regular season price lists.
Customer specific price list based on levels
Special promotion pricing.
New equipment and requested special systems.
Publish catalogs as required. – Provide continuing assistance to advertising department as catalogs are being formulated. This assistance is to include overall plan, content and wording of material.
Be available to handle a specific, limited number of house accounts and accounts that may require special attention.
Coordinate promotional functions with advertising department for facilitating sales via visual, audio and public relations networks.
Organize and Attend trade shows to promote the O’Day Tank brand
Monitor client purchase orders, bidding, bid exchanges, and sales to insure that they are in compliance with company goals.
Expand direct tank sales and truckload sales to established COOP’s and Petroleum Equipment companies.
Promote O’Day Tank & Steel other manufactured goods
