Job Description

  • This position provides strategy and direction to build and maintain relationships, manage operations, and monitor and improve key performance indicators for the college's Perkins V Grant, K-12 partnerships, College in the High School Program (CHS), Online College in the High School (OCHS), and Post Secondary Enrollment Opportunities (PSEO).
  • Conduct internal and external outreach to build and maintain strong relationships and articulations between Northland and K-12 partners in support of Northland's missions and strategic planning.
  • Serve as a project director for the Strengthening Career and Technical Education for the 21st Century Act (Perkins V) Grant.
  • Develop events and coordinate activities with all appropriate stake holders, improve student success, and strengthen communication with internal and external partners using effective practice models.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to ensure smooth functioning of the department.

    Salary Range:

$25.29 - $36.71

Employment Condition:

Unclassified - Unlimited Academic

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor Degree
  • Experience with grants
  • Familiarity with the role and purpose of Career and Technical Education
  • Experience with educational organizations/institutions
  • Evidence of a skill set sufficient to maintain strong working relationships across internal and external partnerships.

Preferred Qualification

  • Experience managing a large, federal grant
  • Experience working in a two-year college setting
  • Experience in designing early credit opportunities with secondary partners
  • Experience with concurrent enrollment deploying NACEP Standards
  • Experience with Perkins V, formally known as Carl Perkins Grant, activities.
