JOB TITLE: Paint Preparation Associate

REPORTS TO: Manufacturing Supervisor

FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt

SUMMARY: Preparation of various agricultural products and components for the painting process.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Grinding and Sanding of various parts after welding operation has been completed

  • Preparation of parts for the painting process

  • Put away painted parts in various storage locations

  • Track jobs in computer system

  • Drive Forklift

  • Other duties as assigned

LANGUAGE ABILITY:

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

REASONING ABILITY:

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.

MATHEMATIC ABILITY:

Ability to calculate basic mathematics such as adding, subtracting and multiplication

COMPUTER SKILLS:

To perform the job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Word Processing software, Spreadsheet software, Internet Software, and be highly comfortable working on a computer on a daily basis.
