Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook food items according to club recipes and standards.
  • Assist with food prep such as chopping, portioning, and organizing ingredients.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, including grills, fryers, prep stations, and storage areas.
  • Ensure all food is cooked and presented correctly with attention to quality and appearance.
  • Follow all food safety and sanitation standards, including proper handling and storage of food.
  • Stock and restock ingredients and supplies as needed to keep service running smoothly.
  • Work closely with other team members to ensure smooth and efficient operations during busy pool hours.
  • Assist with receiving and storing deliveries.
  • Perform cleaning duties such as washing dishes, cleaning equipment, and maintaining overall kitchen cleanliness.
  • Engage with members and guests in a friendly, professional manner if needed at the poolside window.

Qualifications:

  • Previous kitchen or cooking experience preferred, but willing to train the right candidate.
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and a positive attitude.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, outdoor environment.
  • Team player who communicates well and works well with others.
  • Basic understanding of food safety and sanitation practices (ServSafe certification a plus).
  • Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 30 pounds, and work in warm conditions.
  • Flexible schedule — must be available to work weekends, holidays, and peak summer hours.
