Registered Nurse ** This position is located in Bismarck, ND. Relocation or commute required.**
Regular, Full-time, non-exempt, On-site
Weekdays 8am to 5pm, 40 hours per week, 

On-call coverage 5pm to 8am and weekends as scheduled.

Starting pay at $24.10 per hour. Higher pay possible depending on relatable experience.

Under the direction of the Coordinator, the RN provides high quality respiratory care, clinical and DME duties. The RN will communicate when appropriate any concerns regarding care provided to those allied health professionals and physicians involved in the care of the patient. The RN will also complete all other duties as assigned.
 
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide patient education on the proper use and maintenance of all home respiratory care equipment and supplies.
Complete routine and emergent home visits to address compliance and education
Conduct phone calls to patients, referrals sources and physicians to coordinate patient
Complies with patient care and documentation procedures to ensure patient protection and
Monitor patients for compliance with physician prescription and understanding of equipment and supplies.
Provides friendly and caring customer service in the spirit of the mission, values and strategic vision of Great Plains Restorative Services LLC.
Demonstrates excellent customer service performance and displays a positive attitude and behaviors consistent with the GPRS Standards of Conduct and Core Values.
Specific tasks or duties the position performs on a regular basis:
Delivers and sets up oxygen and DME equipment according to company policy with regards to cleanliness, safety and licensure laws and instructs and educates clients on proper and safe use of oxygen and DME equipment.
Schedule and perform requirements for in-town and out-of-town oxygen runs/checks. Each oxygen patient will be seen every other month.
May be responsible, at times, for shipping and receiving of equipment, matching purchase orders against incoming or outgoing freight.
Completes set-up forms of new sale and rental equipment as products are received. Able to verbalize knowledge to effectively use DME equipment.
Assists walk-in customers with selection of merchandise. Answers questions customers may have with their selection of merchandise.
Informs Site Coordinator/Director when inventory or assets are needed. Assist in ordering inventory when needed.
Collect data from patients, clients, fill out insurance forms as required and route necessary forms to physicians for signing, etc.
Education:
Graduate of an approved Nursing School.
License:
Valid North Dakota RN License. Current CPR certification (or completed within 60 days of employment). Valid driver's license.
Experience:
Two years home care experience preferred but not required.
Skills:
Good clinical evaluation skills. Mechanical aptitude required. Computer aptitude required.

Ability to communicate both orally and in writing. Must demonstrate initiative and good judgment. Promotes positive working relationships among co-workers through expressions of appreciation to others for the work they do. Works in harmony and with a spirit of cooperation with physicians and the general public. Disciplined to actively listen to customer's needs and takes responsibility to address those needs. Thrives in a fast-paced work environment
Physical Effort:
Medium-heavy lifting 75 pounds maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 35 pounds.
