Provide direct assistance to agency staff and individuals regarding methods, strategies, and techniques relative to Individual Program Plan implementation.
Review individual services (e.g., goals and objectives) for compliance with all standards and state requirements, as they relate to the provision of in-service/staff development.
Act as a resource to program service staff. Recommend to the teams the need for further assessment or revision of current methods, strategies, and implementation techniques, etc. Provide adequate follow-up to (e.g., hands on training) in all need areas.
Provide coaching and resource expertise for staff to foster skill in implementing ISP programs as well as other staff development issues, not part of the formal ISP process.
Will be responsible for providing orientation training to new employees as assigned, including First Aid and CPR instruction. This training entails working evening hours in the group homes to ensure comprehensive follow-up.
Work with transportation related issues such as cab bills, changes in city bus routes, changes in charges for use of public transportation, and provides input to the department in determining needs for individualized transportation by Fraser.
Act as the coordinator and liaison of Fraser individuals to promote community inclusion and socialization. Provide direct assistance to program services staff to develop/plan events and obtain and share community information.
Participate in agency committees as assigned.
