Full-time/Part-time (15-40 hours/week)

Do you want to play an active role in preserving the beauty of North Dakota’s parks while ensuring everyone has a safe and memorable visit? The North Dakota Parks & Recreation team is looking for Seasonal Park Rangers to help protect and share the history, beauty, and recreational opportunities of our state parks!
What You’ll Do:
Support Park Services: Work with park administration, maintenance, and enforcement teams to support programs and assist visitors.
Enforce Park Rules: Learn to enforce state park rules and regulations fairly and effectively, ensuring everyone has a safe experience.
Respond to Emergencies: Assist with medical emergencies and other urgent situations across a variety of terrains.
Help Visitors: Provide information and assistance to park guests of all ages and backgrounds, enhancing their experience.
Conduct Interpretive Programs: Lead programs and tours that educate visitors about the park’s natural and cultural history.
Maintain a Safe Environment: Help ensure a positive and secure atmosphere for visitors while promoting responsible park use.
Work Outdoors: Spend your days in some of the most scenic locations in North Dakota.
Make a Difference: Play a key role in ensuring visitors have a safe, educational, and enjoyable experience.
Flexible Hours: Both full-time and part-time hours, with a mix of days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Minimum Qualifications:
Customer Service Experience: Prior work experience in customer service and familiarity with computers. High School Diploma or GED (or currently enrolled in school).
Valid Driver’s License to get around the park.
Must be at least 18 years old.
