Job Description
SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:
The primary responsibility for the Service Coordinator is to provide quality customer service and organization to the service area. Utilize excellent communication with customers to ensure they are helped and service is performed in a timely manner to meet DFP standards.
JOB DUTIES INCLUDE:
- Service department sales, estimating and purchasing.
- Follow up on open parts orders and lead times.
- Correspond with customers and vendors regarding open orders.
- Work closely with Service Manager and Service Technicians.
- Review open order report on a regular basis and follow through to ensure timely and accurate completion.
- Assist with inside sales and counter sales overflow if needed.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:
Highly motivated self-starter; excellent communication skills; proficient at planning and organization; strong mechanical background; hydraulic background preferred.
