As one of Jamestown’s largest single-source providers of electrical services, electrical construction, and energy management solutions, we are seeking a Part Time Shop Maintenance Technician to join our Advantage Electric Inc. team.
Responsibilities:
- General warehouse operations.
- Receiving freight, operating a forklift, and stocking the warehouse.
- Track inventory stock levels and complete inventory counts.
- Maintain proper locations for all inventory.
- Use a variety of tools and equipment such as power hand tools.
- Maintain, clean and organize tools and equipment.
- Gather and deliver tools and supplies to be used at job sites.
- Complete routine oil changes, tire rotations and other general mechanical tasks.
- Grounds and building maintenance.
- Keep work area clean by collecting and disposing of scrap, excess materials, and refuse.
- Additional duties as assigned.
The ideal candidate will satisfy the following requirements and qualifications:
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree.
- Minimum 1-2 years of relevant experience preferred.
- Must possess valid driver’s license.
- Must be able to pass drug and background check.
- Ability to read and write legibly.
- Basic math skills.
- Ability to work as a team player.
- Must be capable of standing and walking for extended periods of time.
- Ability to bend, lift, squat, climb stairs on a daily basis.
- Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs.
