As one of Jamestown’s largest single-source providers of electrical services, electrical construction, and energy management solutions, we are seeking a Part Time Shop Maintenance Technician to join our Advantage Electric Inc. team.

Responsibilities: 

  • General warehouse operations.
  • Receiving freight, operating a forklift, and stocking the warehouse.
  • Track inventory stock levels and complete inventory counts.
  • Maintain proper locations for all inventory.
  • Use a variety of tools and equipment such as power hand tools.
  • Maintain, clean and organize tools and equipment.
  • Gather and deliver tools and supplies to be used at job sites.
  • Complete routine oil changes, tire rotations and other general mechanical tasks.
  • Grounds and building maintenance.
  • Keep work area clean by collecting and disposing of scrap, excess materials, and refuse.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

The ideal candidate will satisfy the following requirements and qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of relevant experience preferred.
  • Must possess valid driver’s license.
  • Must be able to pass drug and background check.
  • Ability to read and write legibly.
  • Basic math skills. 
  • Ability to work as a team player.
  • Must be capable of standing and walking for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to bend, lift, squat, climb stairs on a daily basis.
  • Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs.
