Some of the opportunities involved with the Store Director position are:
• Providing and modeling outstanding customer service
• Planning and directing day-to-day operations of the store
• Develop strategies to improve customer service and drive store sales
• Ensure customer needs are met and service is quick and efficient
• Oversee product displays and merchandising
• Forecast staffing needs and develop recruiting and training strategies to maintain optimal staffing in all departments
• Work with store budgets to meet or exceed store goals
• Ensure a safe working environment for all associates and customers
• Monitor food safety practices throughout the store
Qualifications:
• Requires bachelor’s degree or equivalent and/or 5 years minimum management
experience in retail or a related area.
• Must have extensive experience and judgement to plan and accomplish goals and excel at leading and directing store associates.
• Must be proficient in MS Office programs and comfortable working with technology (computers, smartphones, apps, online shopping, etc.)
