Supervisor
Employee is responsible for the direct oversight of an assigned work team on a designated account and on a designated shift. Employee is further responsible for ensuring that productivity levels and customer service requirements are being met and that front-line employees are complying with all safety, quality, and compliance standards established by the Company, by our Clients, and by regulatory authorities.
Specific Duties / Essential Job Functions: (Other duties may be assigned.)
- Monitor and direct agents to perform duties according to Standard Operating Procedures.
- Ensure that future schedules are complete (days off, vacations, etc.)
- Ensure all call offs are covered.
- Manage employee lunches and breaks.
- Assist managers with ordering supplies.
- Conduct SWOP Audits and GoSpot Checks
- Conducts daily, weekly & monthly facility inspections making appropriate observations and provides feedback to clients and associates.
- Conduct daily employee engagement audits. Spend time with each team member and document discussions regarding, training, supplies needed, understanding their work habits, routines and building relationships.
- Maintains safety awareness and is responsible maintaining an acceptable safety record.
- Schedule and assist in training/orientations for new employees as needed.
- Supervisor will help with administrative work that Manager assigns him.
- Capable to working with computer and cell phones is must.
- Able to lift, lower, push and pull objects up to 50 lbs., unassisted
- Ability to stand, climb, bend, stoop and crouch for extended periods of time
- Valid Driver's License for positions requiring driving the company vehicle
- Count and read, write, and speak English
- Able to work flexible hours
- Follow all 3M and ABM policies and procedures
Daily Essential Functions
- Perform cleaning tasks
- Delegate miscellaneous requests to custodians
- Manage a minimum of 15 custodians
- Coordinate and assign WO as required
- Coordinate and delegate any daily project work with the team
- Maintain effective and frequent communication with your Associate Manager including WO and project work completion
- Flexibility in covering positions when team members are absent
- Report repairs, compactor readings, and low inventory levels
- Train and develop team members
- Follow all safety policies and procedures
- Maintain knowledge on operating equipment and using chemicals
- Operate and maintain all cleaning equipment
- Conduct routine inspections/Swops
